Responsibilities:

Enhance existing feature sets with additional
functionality.
Modify existing feature sets to operate within a rich C#
and ASP.Net web based platform.
Research, assess and classify features, defects and
performance issues and recommend changes.
Define and develop functional and technical
specifications and test plan recommendations.
Within the overall SDLC process, architect, design,
implement and test solutions.
Lead a team of software developers through mentoring,
training, assignments, design/code/test reviews.
Evaluate vendor solutions including assessing risks,
benefits and costs.
Evaluate, recommend and implement new software
development tools and technologies.
Contribute skills and knowledge to other projects as
determined by management
Communicate status, problems, resolutions, etc. on
projects and assignments
Essential Skills:

Client/Server and/or multi-tiered application development

VB6 client application development.
VB6 ActiveX and User Control component development.
MS SQL Server 2000/2005 stored procedures, functions,
views and schemas.
Microsoft .NET Framework and C#.
Microsoft ASP.Net, C# and JavaScript.
AJAX techniques.
Object Oriented Design and Programming.
Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) 5.0/6.0
Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes
Visual Studio Development Environment.
Visual SourceSafe.
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication
skills.
Excellent problem solving and debugging skills.
BSCS or BSEE.
